Reflections of Our Lives

A contribution by Nick: Caution not for the faint of heart.

With traveling comes knowledge. We can’t be afraid to leave our comfort zone. When we walk in faith, you will be surprised at how God lays out the gold carpet for us. We shouldn’t have to live with regret. When dealing with decisions we must take the time to meditate and ask ourselves…”what direction and goal am I trying to achieve?” We should never just take the easy road. We must follow our hearts and live as if we are working for a greater life. A life that we deserve and love. My father used to tell me to “figure out what you love to do” and then “figure out how to make money doing it.”

Right now our economy is falling. Our unemployment is record breaking. We should not look at this as a bad thing, but maybe take a step back so we can look at our lives from afar and figure out which direction we can to start running in. A lot of us are unemployed, including myself, but we cannot let that bring us down. This a chance for us to have a “do-over”. And for those of you who aren’t unemployed. Well, that doesn’t mean that you can’t have a do-over. We are all one! We shouldn’t be stuck in a job we hate. Lets live as if we are working to better ourselves. Lets stop taking shortcuts and make our life stories an epic tale.

We are all living lives that have a purpose and meaning. We are living vibrations of the Earth, the Universe, and the Creator. And I truly believe that when we die, you won’t be confronting God, but you will be confronting yourself. Our biggest critic is ourselves and if we are God, then who else would you be confronting but yourself? You will ask yourself questions like, “did I live out the life that I wanted?” “What could I have done better?” Well we don’t have to wait till we die to do that! We can look at ourselves in the mirror right now and say…”what’s next?!?”

Thanks for reading. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hugs from Hawaii, Nick

All of us got baby love for you.

Well put Nick…..here is the promise of our do-over…….found in 2 cor. 5:15
“therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.”

As a single, unemployed momma…thank you for the words of encouragement!! It makes me feel good, knowing I’m not alone. And, you’re right…this is the time to make the best of it! It’s a second chance for me.
