Ask, Seek, Find

How often are we waiting for an answer to “what you should do” without having asked a question or asking for help?

Very often, I am sure.

Most of us, for some reason, feel like other people should be able to read our minds and know what we need or want.

I think it is more accurate to state that we feel like it is selfish or “bad” to ask for something – especially when it comes to helping ourselves.

I am here to tell you that it is time we give it all up to GOD!

He is the faithful one that answers prayers, comes when we seek him, and opens up doors for us when our heart is ready. No one else has that ability!

I am going to (try to) keep this post short & sweet…

This beautiful scripture is not saying that if you ask for…lets say…a bazillion dollars…He is going to give it to you. But with constant praise and prayer to our Creator, He will begin to equip you with what you might need to gain what you ask for. It won’t be easy…nothing in this life ever is! As long as your heart is pure, with good intentions, He will equip you with what you have asked for…only after He knows you are ready!

“Ask, seek, find” is also a brilliant reminder to never give up.

Short & sweet: don’t give up and be sad or upset. Give thanks and praise to God, ask for what it is you need (with a pure heart), seek your answer through Jesus, and you will find it.

Here’s to knocking on doors that will be answered prayers for you!

Much love,

Camille, this is so true! (By the way, thank you for your lovely comments… you have blessed me.)

We also need to remember that His answers to our prayers may not always present themselves the way we expect. Sometimes we may even miss it! I have had this happen to me so many times, especially in the early part of my walk. I would pray and ask for something, that I believed to be according to His will, and the answer came in a different way. At times I was mortified! I was still learning to trust Him, you see, and felt that He was toying with me. ( I know that sounds horrible, but as I said, I had huge trust issues lol).

One day, whilst I was disappointed with the way He answered a heartfelt prayer, I heard this on the Christian radio station, and I never forgot it, as it changed and ministered to my heart immensely:

“God may not always give you what you ask for, but He will never give you second best.”

Beautiful post Camille! Love it! You put it so well!! We need to remember to always praise Him too no matter what the situation! His way of answering might not always be our way but He will answer us if we ask with a pure heart and it is something He thinks we really need then He will provide it for us!
    Lovely post!
Hope you have a blessed day!!
