Caring Chefs 2010

It’s always such a blessing and an honor to be able to be involved in great causes! Whether it is volunteering somewhere, donating and walking Benefit Walks, giving a ride to someone who’s car just broke down…so many wonderful causes are always available to take part in!

If you read our blog on Monday, you will know that we had the honor of attending the 27th Annual Caring Chefs Benefit – a benefit to raise money for the Children’s Home Society (which has a special place in my heart since I interned them when I was in college for a semester!)

Caring Chefs closed down the Avenues Mall in Jacksonville, Florida. Amazing and tasty restaurants from all over Jacksonville came to the benefit, with samples of their delicious food! There were at least 2,000 attendees and at least 50 restaurant sponsors!$105,220 was raised for this wonderful cause (the Children’s Home Society is a non-profit organization that provides services for children and families in many avenues of life…helping about 100,000 children and family members a year!)

It was such a wonderful, beautiful time that we are so thankful for having the honor of attending…we left with full bellies, feeling as if we needed to be rolled out of there.

We want to share some photos of our wonderful time with you…enjoy!

Two level of food...oh boy!

Busy busy busy...so many people, so much food!

Chocolate fondue...life doesn't get much better! 😉

Pretty neat cake! (Winnie the pooh is my fav!)

The chefs were so nice and their food scrumptious!

Me, Mom, & Younger Sister 🙂

Always fun to get all dressed up!

May you have a blessed and relaxing weekend!

Love you all!
