Things Happening…

If you’ve talked to me recently, you have probably heard me say how crazy life is in the aspect that things are happening that I can’t explain (because it’s just that amazing) and it is seriously one thing after another. Well, I can explain it…because it is ALL God. He has His hands in everything amazing that has been going on…it’s surreal.

I think I’ve done pretty good so far with making sure my blog posts weren’t stream of consciousness…but today, I’m just going to let it happen.

I really want to share with you how amazing it is when you surrender to God, you live for Him, and you let Him take control. I promise you that so many crazy things will happen – and they aren’t just a “coincidence.” They happened because God wanted them to happen.

I’m not even sure where to start…I should really start keeping a journal…

I’m going to start with Saturday night. We had a gorgeous event to attend – the Christmas Come True Charity Ball. Christmas Come True is a great local organization that helps to be sure that kids have a Christmas. We were a part of the event by showcasing what we do to all of the attendees. I offered to change tables with a lady who wanted the table that we were originally scheduled to have. Our table neighbors at our new table were incredible to say the least. God wanted us to meet them for sure and it happened! The table consisted of a classy older gentleman from Jacksonville and his sister – with a table full of interesting jewelery (made of forks and spoons) and awesome artwork. It just so happens that this gentleman is an incredible jazz musician and has been interested in having a fundraiser event locally in town. Well what a “coincidence” that we are going to start having events every other month (if not EVERY month)! -With the Gobble Trot being our first! Crazy…right?

Thursday we had an incredible meeting with First Coast Women’s Service in Jacksonville, one of the largest women service groups in the country. The meeting was not only fun, but a huge blessing to us. It helped serve as a reminder of how much potential we truly hold to serve others. We now have a much more specific goal in mind – which we will explain to you all more in depth very soon. But…we got in touch with First Coast because of a great lady we met at Dancing in the Streets – Military Style a few weeks ago…she suggested we get in touch with First Coast.  Again…coincidence? Nope.

After the meeting on Thursday, we grabbed a quick bite to eat. As Chenzo was in the restroom, a sweet older lady started chatting with me for a bit. Once Chenzo came back, I took a restroom break before we headed on our journey home. Needless to say, this conversation about an hour later. In the midst of the conversation, we learned that at one point in this wonderful lady’s life, she used to work with similar ladies that we work with – and had tons of great tips for us! Kind of crazy…right?

Okay, one more examples and then I promise I’ll quit babbling. This is going to be a general example. If someone donates…lets say…size 4 clothes for a baby boy…three days later, either Chenzo and I will come into contact with someone who either needs this particular size for their child or for a child that they know. I am not even kidding you! There is no rhyme or reason to it, either…how it happens is completely organic and just so incredible. After this fourth example, you can’t call it a coincidence still…can you?! I didn’t think so. (If you still do, I have many more examples for you if you want! ;))

All of this happened in just a few days…can you believe that?! It is seriously so hard to comprehend because it is just so much!! God really IS that good. (Not that I didn’t know this before or appreciate it…but it is something that I felt led to share with you all.)

If you’ve been praying for something, I want to give you encouragement and let you know to not stop…keep praying! Stay strong in your faith and know that God will follow through with his promises. Everything is on God’s time…not ours! Know that God has a plan for us all. He will put people in your path that will help you to receive many blessings.

When this happens…don’t forget to let me know!

Enjoy your week – it’s going to be amazing!

Much love, Camille
